Step 1: Grip the Club

Tension is a killer in the golf swing. It dictates how the muscles are able to move, how far they are able to stretch, and the speed that they can fire. If you are giving the club a death grip and your muscles are tense before you even begin the swing, you're screwed. You have to give your self a chance!

Step one is to simply grip the club and hold it without feeling discomfort from The Missing Piece. Align the product so your thumbs are going down the gap of the product. This will most likely be easier said than done for many of you. Your first thought is going to be "It's sharp!" The sensation of the left hand being in charge will be new and strange… but this is a good thing. You may even feel that your left hand is weak! This is how little coordination your off hand has and how little it does in your current swing. Develop the feel of the lead hand having the majority of grip pressure.
